Hmmmmmm....

So I received a call from Fed Ex last weekend inquiring about what "suite" number my package could be delivered to at Q106. I didn't get the message until Monday afternoon because I was out of town all weekend.

Upon arriving at work on Tuesday I received a postcard from Fed Ex asking me to call them to let them know where they could deliver. I called them and told them. I also had one question...

Why send a postcard to the same address that you could not find to make the initial delivery in the first place?

The kind person on the other end of the phone chuckled and said "that's a good point".

I mean come on, Q106 is located in a strip mall that boasts two churches, a youth center, a salon and a cluster of radio stations. Slim pickins.

Anyhow, it's now Friday and I wonder if Fed Ex is lost again because I still have not received my package.

Have a good weekend!

Here We Go!

It's about time that spring has arrived and I'm stoked about what's gonna happen.

Looking back to a year ago I never thought I would be where I am now. Like you, I thought "man, what else can happen?". Then you realize everything happens for a reason. Looking back on one of my previous blogs, the cup is half full.

The Lugnuts are back in action and that means that we have an entire spring and summer of good times at Old's Park and for many it will be quite a bash on Thursdays. This leads us into May and Cinqo De Mayo which reminds you that some hot days are on the way. Look out here comes Memorial Day, you're hittin the road for the weekend and doing some major bbq'ing and probably will take your boat out right? Around the corner is July 4th and Commonground. At this point your grass is probably going to be brown due to the fact that we had little rain and / or you were lazy about your lawn maintenance. Once we get into August you realize that summer is almost over because MSU is kicking off their football season during August.

I guess what I am saying is that I am looking forward to the summer for the first time in a while and believe it or not am already looking forward to MSU football....one day at a time, I'm in no rush.

Anticipation

So we're about a 30 minutes away from tip off between MSU and Connecticut.

I'm anxious to see what is going to happen tonight with the Spartans. Which team will play? Will the same team that dominated Louisville show up? Will the "second half" team be on the court?

One thing's for sure, in a little over two and a half hours we will know if State will move on to the championship throwdown on Monday night.

I think our depth is going to be key and if Suton can have another career game then we will cut it close. Who can forget Tom Izzo, not only one of the best coaches in college basketball history but also a great mentor to his players and the community.

Making it this far is something that Spartan fans should be proud of.

GO GREEN!
